I am a leader and a senior manager in HR – which I translate to Human Relations. For many years and kilometers, I have been a companion for executives, senior and junior managers as well as rising talents on their personal leadership trail.
Leadership is my passion and I aim to help new and experienced managers to be(come) better leaders.
On this website, I share my personal ideas and opinion about leadership. This activity does not generate income and is not related to my day job.

How do I “count and weigh” experience? Is experience the simple sum of hard and soft skills? On the right side I tried to summarize my professional experience in headlines and maybe my blog posts make this more tangible.
When “counting up” my portfolio, one of my main measuring units is people:
- In my youth I was a swimming and handball coach for children
- After a high-school year in the USA, I became part of the team and organized assessments for hundreds of students going abroad
- In one of my early jobs I was responsible for the vocational training, where 17 to 19 year old trainees grew into their first professional role
- As a program manager for a management trainee program, our team conducted thousands of interviews, dozens of assessment centers and accompanied hundreds of trainees starting a corporate career
- As HR Business Partner I worked with more than 100 first time managers and helped them in their transition from experts to leaders
- I consulted more than 250 senior managers and together we came across a broad range of leadership challenges
- I worked with a dozen CEOs and Board Members shaping the framework for engagement and leadership culture
