This policy explains the cookies and related technologies used by LeaderTrails. For information about personal information submitted through forms, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can maintain a session, support security or remember a choice. Similar technologies can store information or load resources from an external provider. A cookie’s purpose, rather than its name alone, determines how it should be treated.
2. Your cookie choices
The LeaderTrails cookie panel provides Accept all, Reject optional and Customise preferences. Optional categories start switched off. Continuing to browse, scrolling or closing preferences does not mean that you accept optional cookies.
You can reopen Cookie preferences using the cookie button on the website to review or withdraw your choices. A new choice replaces the saved preference for this browser. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already took place. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; this may cause the site to ask again.
3. Categories
- Necessary: core site functions, session handling, security and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off in the panel.
- Functional & external content: optional features or external content, where such features are enabled and linked to this preference.
- Analytics: optional audience measurement, where an analytics service is enabled and linked to this preference.
- Marketing: optional advertising or campaign measurement, where such services are enabled and linked to this preference.
A category shown in the panel does not mean that every type of service in that category is installed. The previous Universal Analytics integration has been removed; this policy does not imply that a replacement analytics or advertising service is active.
4. First-party cookies identified on this site
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
mglt_consent_v3 |
Remembers the version, date and categories of your cookie choice for LeaderTrails in this browser. | 180 days from your latest saved choice. | Necessary |
lp_session_guest |
Maintains a guest session for the site’s LearnPress features. | Up to 24 hours. | Necessary session functionality |
mo_openid_signup_url |
Stores a return-page address for the miniOrange social sign-in feature. | Up to 30 days. | Functional |
The functional return-page cookie is optional during ordinary browsing and is subject to the Functional preference. Cookies strictly needed after you explicitly request sign-in can be used for that requested authentication flow.
Other session or authentication cookies can be used if you sign in or access an enabled account feature. Their use depends on the function you request. Session cookies may expire sooner when a session ends or is invalidated.
5. Third-party services
Google reCAPTCHA: the contact and subscription forms use anti-spam verification. Google states that reCAPTCHA sets the _GRECAPTCHA cookie when executed for its risk analysis. Other Google cookies may also be involved when the service uses the google.com domain. Details are available in Google’s reCAPTCHA FAQ and Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts: external fonts make a connection to Google’s font service. An external resource request is not, by itself, proof that an analytics cookie has been set.
Newsletter service: subscription forms are intended to send the information you submit to Mailchimp when that connection is enabled. This is distinct from accepting optional website cookies.
6. Browser controls
Your browser can show stored cookies and let you delete or block them. Blocking necessary cookies can affect sessions, security or the ability to remember your choices. Settings are specific to the browser and device you use.
7. Contact
